This painting was done without reference. I wanted to paint a still life of sunflowers but when I went to several florists in the area they cut off all the leaves. So, I decided to paint the sunflowers the way I wanted them.
“Sunflower Party” was created on 1.5-inch-thick canvas and arrives with a simple black frame.
